Project Coordinator (Saudi National - 16-month engagement)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator with a strong background in quality management to support the successful planning and execution of projects within the contracting, construction, or hospitality sectors for a 16-month engagement. The ideal candidate will assist in managing quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to standards, and coordinating project activities to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Support:
Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities.
Maintain and update project schedules, timelines, and deliverables.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including quality assurance records, reports, and meeting minutes.
Generate periodic quality performance reports and escalate issues as needed.
Ensure all project documentation is organized and accessible to stakeholders.
Communication and Coordination:
Serve as a liaison between quality assurance teams, project stakeholders, contractors, and team members.
Schedule and coordinate project meetings, including quality-related discussions, and follow up on action items.
Address inquiries and concerns related to quality management promptly and effectively.
Risk Management:
Identify potential quality risks and work with the Project Manager to develop mitigation strategies.
Maintain a quality risk log and ensure timely resolution of quality-related challenges.
Training and Development:
Provide support in training team members and subcontractors on quality management practices and standards.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in quality practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or relevant quality certifications is a plus.
5-10 years of experience in project coordination and quality management within the contracting, construction, or hospitality sectors.
Proven track record of supporting projects with a focus on quality assurance and compliance.
