As an Operational Readiness Manager, you will ensure the seamless deployment of strategies and plans for regional assets and services. You will oversee the application of frameworks, track progress, and manage assurance activities to facilitate smooth project execution.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Readiness Application: Lead the development and validation of operational strategies, plans, and procedures.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate effective engagement and coordination with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Progress Tracking and Reporting: Implement robust reporting and tracking practices, continuously monitoring and communicating operational readiness progress.
  • Framework, Planning, & Tools: Maintain and apply the operational readiness framework across the project, identifying interdependencies to ensure aligned execution.
  • Data Management & Reporting: Manage and enhance operational readiness dashboards, ensuring data integrity for accurate and timely status reporting.
  • Operational Readiness Assurance: Conduct rigorous assurance activities to validate the accuracy and reliability of operational readiness information and materials.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with district and sector leaders to ensure effective implementation of operational readiness plans and strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned and best practices into operational readiness processes.
 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Operational Readiness Expertise: 8+ years of experience in operational readiness, project management, or a related field, with a deep understanding of operational readiness methodologies and best practices.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven leadership skills with a focus on teamwork, results, and experience in mentoring and developing team members.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, assess interdependencies, and make informed decisions that enhance operational readiness strategies.
  • Data Management: Proficiency in data management, including data processing, visualization, and protection using relevant tools and technologies.
  • Assurance and Compliance: Experience in conducting assurance activities, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Change Management: Ability to drive and manage change, adapting strategies and plans in response to evolving organizational needs.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant industries such as construction, infrastructure, or urban development, and an understanding of their operational challenges and readiness requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Management, or a related discipline. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading complex readiness projects on a large scale.
