We are seeking an experienced Engagement Director to lead and deliver projects in the Water Sector Operations & Maintenance Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering projects to the clients, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consulting within the water sector, particularly focusing on operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of projects related to Operations & Maintenance Strategy in the Water Sector.
  • Provide strategic guidance and insights to clients based on industry best practices and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Ensure project delivery is on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in the water sector.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on the water sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects in the water sector, specifically in operations and maintenance.
  • Extensive experience working in a management consulting firm, or a strategy house.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve results.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
