We are seeking a skilled Strategy Director to oversee strategic business initiatives and facilitate successful execution in collaboration with senior leadership and department heads. This role will involve providing support to executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation, as well as optimizing organizational procedures for enhanced efficiency and productivity. The Strategy Director will act as a special adviser to the Chief Environment Officer, liaise with stakeholders across the organization, and lead strategic planning processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution.
  • Assist executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure.
  • Optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide counsel to the Chief Environment Officer on strategic, policy, and critical issues.
  • Serve as a liaison with staff, executives, and senior leaders on Environment sector portfolio matters.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with employees to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Chief Environment Officer and other departments on special projects.
  • Handle inquiries, develop action plans, and assist with communications.
  • Manage day-to-day tasks, including attending meetings and leading strategic planning processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience in budget management.
  • Consulting experience with a focus on operations management.
  • Proven success in a project coordination role.
  • Nimble business mind with a focus on creative solutions.
  • Strong project reporting skills and interdepartmental communication.
  • Ability to understand emotions and intentions in office operations.
  • Leadership skills to collaborate effectively and assist the executive team.
  • Seven or more years of experience in business management or executive roles.
  • Experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Versatile abilities and dedication to efficient productivity.
